XII Trofeo Internacional Ciudad de Barcelona

El próximo 19 de septiembre, el Velódromo Municipal d’Horta Miquel Poblet acogerá, un año más, un evento de talla mundial, el XII TROFEU INTERNACIONAL CIUTAT DE BARCELONA – Memorial Miquel Poblet.

Esta prueba, perteneciente al calendario internacional de la UCI, se trata de una competición de máximo nivel, única en el estado y que, como evento UCI de nivel I, atrae a algunos de los mejores pistards del mundo. Se trata pues, de una oportunidad excelente para disfrutar de un día completo en la pista donde la espectacularidad está garantizada.

Para los neófitos en la disciplina profesional de pista, y que quizá no estén familiarizados con las potencias en esta disciplina ciclista, podemos confirmar que algunos de los mejores especialistas mundiales en sus categorías, volarán en el óvalo barcelonés, no os lo podéis perder…

El trofeo arrancará a las 8:30, cuando los primeros corredores tomarán contacto con la madera del velódromo, estrenada apenas hace unos meses.

Habrá dos grandes categorías, Élite y Junior, ambas con integrantes femeninos y masculinos.

Los horarios de las pruebas, son:

Mañana:

  • 8:30 – Entrenamientos oficiales
  • 9:00 – 200 m Salida lanzada (clasificación 8 mejores tiempos por categoría)
  • 10:15 – Velocidad ¼ final
  • 11:35 – Velocidad Semifinal
  • 12:20 – Puntuación Mujeres elite
  • 12:35 – Velocidad Finales

Tarde:

  • 16:00 – Entrenamientos oficiales
  • 17:00 – Fondo Scratch Mujeres elite (15 km)
  • 17:25 – Keirin Series clasificatorias
  • 18:05 – Fondo Scratch Mujeres Élite (8 km)
  • 18:25 – Keirin Series repesca Hombres Élite
  • 18:40 – Fondo Puntuación Hombres Élite (30 km)
  • 19:10 – Keirin Semifinales Hombres Élite
  • 19:25 – Keirin Finales
  • 20:15 – Ceremonias Protocolarias

On September 19th, in the municipal Horta Velodrome Miquel Poblet will take place once again, a world-class event, the XII INTERNATIONAL TROPHY CITY OF BARCELONA – Memorial Miquel Poblet.

This race, part of the UCI international calendar consists on a top-level competition, only in the state and as UCI Tier I event, draws some of the best track racers in the world. This is therefore, an excellent opportunity to enjoy a full day at the track where the spectacle is guaranteed.

For newcomers to the professional discipline of track, and that may not be familiar with the powers in this cycling discipline, we can confirm that some of the best world specialists in their categories will fly in the Barcelona oval, you can’t miss that…

The trophy will start at 8:30am, when the first riders will take contact with the wood of the velodrome, used for the first time a few months ago.

There will be two categories, Elite and Junior, both women and men members.

The race schedule will be:

Morning:

  • 8:30 – Official Training
  • 9:00 – Flying 200m time trial (qualified the 8 best times per each category)
  • 10:15 – Sprint ¼ final
  • 11:35 – Sprint Semi-final
  • 12:20 – Points race Women Elite
  • 12:35 – Sprint Final

Evenening:

  • 16:00 – Official Training
  • 17:00 – Scratch Race Women Elite (15 km)
  • 17:25 – Keirin Qualifies Series
  • 18:05 – Scratch race Women Elite (8 km)
  • 18:25 – Keirin play-off series Men Elite
  • 18:40 – Point Race Men Elite (30 km)
  • 19:10 – Keirin Semi-final Men Elite
  • 19:25 – Keirin Final
  • 20:15 – Official ceremonies
