Samba a ritmo de CRITERIO FIXED

¡Río is on fire! El pasado sábado 17 se disputó en la ciudad carioca la primera exitosa edición del Criterio Fixed en Brasil. Mucha afluencia de público, sobre todo aficionados de la bicicleta y del piñón fijo y también muchos curiosos que simplemente querían saber más sobre lo que estaba pasando en los entornos del estadio Maracaná.

El gran esfuerzo organizativo de la crew RJFG ha sido coronado con un buen número de inscripciones (66 en total).

WOMENS CRIT

¡Las chicas en Río han dado un buen espectáculo! Once han sido las inscritas. Desde el principio la lucha por la victoria ha sido entre: Carina Chandan que permaneció líder de carrera durante toda la prueba pero en la última vuelta no pudo mantener el control absoluto y finalmente logró una tercera plaza. En el rush final, se hace con la victoria Beatriz Folly seguida por Stephanie Ribeiro y Carina.

MENS CRIT – Cat 2

La categoría secundaria masculina es la que registra el mayor número de inscripciones. El pelotón, muy compacto durante la gran parte de la carrera, se rompió en las últimas vueltas gracias a Lucas Leitao y Gustavo Togi que se disputaron la victoria protagonizando un emocionante sprint. La tercera posición fue para Fabio Morales.

MENS CRIT – Cat 1

Sin duda, la prueba más intensa y de alto nivel agonístico del sábado carioca. Marcando un ritmo atroz, un pequeño grupo de cuatro riders se escapa del pelotón desde las primeras vueltas. Diego Martins lanza un ataque a pocas vueltas del final, que sería decisivo para hacerse con el primer puesto. Segunda plaza para uno de los favoritos, el chileno Waldo Labra. Cerrando el podio encontraríamos a Fabio Oliveria.

El primer capítulo de los critériums en Rio ha sido un evento grande y con un muy buen resultado.

Felicitar a RJFG por el logro y el éxito de este gran fin de semana.

Rio is on fire! On Saturday 17 disputed in Rio de Janeiro city’s first successful edition of Criterio Fixed in Brazil. Many crowd, especially bike fans and fixed gear and many onlookers who simply wanted to know more about what was happening in the Maracana stadium environments.

The major organizational effort RJFG crew has been crowned with a number of entries (66 in total).

WOMENS CRIT

The girls in Rio had a good show! Eleven girls were registered. From the beginning the struggle for victory was between Carina Chandan remained leader throughout the test race on the final lap but could not maintain full control and finally achieved a third place. In the final rush, blocks Beatriz Folly victory followed by Stephanie Ribeiro and Carina.

MENS CRIT – Cat 2

Male secondary category which has the highest number of entries . The squad, very compact during much of the race , broke in the last laps thanks to Lucas Leitao and Gustavo Togi disputed victory starring in an exciting sprint. The third place was to Fabio Morales.

MENS CRIT – Cat 1

Definitely more intense testing and high agonistic level carioca Sabbath. Marking an appalling rate, a small group of four riders Squad escapes from the first laps. Diego Martins launches an attack a few laps to go, it would be crucial to clinch the top spot. Second place for a favorite, the chilean Waldo Labra. Closing the podium would find Fabio Oliveria.

The first chapter of criteriums in Rio has been a large and a very good result event.
