During the last weekend it was impossible not to focus your attention on two major events that were held in the United States, precisely in one of the most iconic cities overall and especially cycling, New York and Los Angeles.

Wolfpack Hustle Civic CRIT 2
Los Ángeles

Don Ward and the guys from Wolfpack Hustle did a big event in Los Angeles. The second edition of Civic Crit has been a great success, regarding the issue of 2013 (the first) the organization has achieved an international athletes and professional teams, especially in the “track bike” category. The Criterium from Wolfpack Hustle(road and track bikes) is the perfect reflection of the widespread and love of road cycling and fixed gear in Los Angeles and throughout California in general.

Neversink Invitational
New York

Neversink Invitational is a race organized by David Trimble and Trimble Racing. No sponsors, no licenses, no awards. And where’s the fun? For in the pure essence of enjoying the thrills of biking such a magical place like the Catskill Mountains. A 75 miles race (120 km) between forests and mountains north of New York, hard, intense, dramatic, competitive and characterized by three major promotions in the past concentrated 30 miles test. The race is directed to that group of people who train hard and are invited by the organization, but there is always the possibility of writing an email to the same David Trimble and request an invitation to attend.

What characterizes the Neversink Invitational iis also the love for cycling, the hardness and the requirement of proof, it is also the family atmosphere that permeates the post-race, barbecues, beer and good times among friends and acquaintances.

    Durante este fin de semana era inevitable no fijar la atención en dos importantes eventos que se celebraron el pasado fin de semana en Estados Unidos, precisamente en unas de las ciudades más representativas a nivel general y sobretodo del ciclismo, New York y Los Ángeles.

    Don Ward y los chicos de Wolfpack Hustle vuelven a liarla gorda en Los Ángeles. La segunda edición del Civic Crit ha sido un gran éxito, respecto a la edición del 2013 (la primera) la organización ha logrado una audiencia internacional a nivel de atletas y equipos profesionales, sobre todo en lo que es la categoría “track bike”. El Critérium de Wolfpack Hustle (road y piñon fijo) es el perfecto reflejo de la gran difusión y afición al ciclismo de carretera y piñón fijo en Los Ángeles y en general en toda California.

    Neversink Invitational es una carrera organizada por David Trimble y Trimble Racing. Sin sponsors, sin licencias, sin premios. ¿Y dónde está la gracia? Pues en la pura esencia de disfrutar las emociones del ciclismo en un lugar tan mágico como las montañas de Catskill. Un carrera de 75 millas (120 km) entre los bosques y las montañas al norte de New York, prueba dura, intensa, espectacular, competitiva y que se caracteriza por tres ascensos importantes concentrados en las últimas 30 millas. La carrera es dirigida a ese grupo de personas que entrenan duro y que son invitados por la organización, aunque siempre hay la posibilidad de escribir un correo al mismo David Trimble y solicitar una invitación para poder asistir.

    Lo que caracteriza la Neversink Invitational, además del amor al ciclismo, la dureza y la exigencia de la prueba, es también el ambiente familiar que se respira en el post-race, barbacoas, cervezas y buenos ratos entre amigos y conocidos.
