Italia es uno de los países europeos donde el movimiento del piñón fijo está más presente y en la historia reciente de esta disciplina va siempre un paso por adelante.

Se refleja la necesidad de innovar y proponer nuevos formatos de eventos. Las carreras (critérium) se han ido multiplicando en los últimos años y varios organizadores han aprovechado para ponerse de acuerdo y crear una competición a nivel nacional compuesta por cuatro carreras en cuatro ciudades distintas donde el piñón fijo tiene muchos seguidores: Roma, Florencia, Milano y Forli.

El Trofeo tendrá lugar entre el mes de mayo y junio, y en cuestión de un mes se disputaran todas las carreras.

Fechas:

Roma 14 mayo (Urbe Criterium Race)
Florencia 28 mayo (Fiorino Crit)
Milano 9 Junio (Criterium Tremens)
Forli el 25 junio (Vitamina Crit)

Los equipos que participan en el Trofeo Criterium Italia son top-class. Para que os hagáis una idea, habrá equipos como Iride Modena, Supernova Factory Team, Bahumer Cycling, Oscar Cycling, Desgëna, Cykeln Divisione Corse, Ravens Fixed, Brianza Squadra Corse… Si habéis coincidido con alguno de ellos, sabréis de buena mano de cuanto nivel habrá en esta competición.

Un aspecto a destacar, es el diseño de los posters de Criterium Italia, ilustraciones creadas de la mano del artista Zamoc y con el lettering de Luca Barcellona, tomando como inspiración las fotos de nuestro querido Brazo de Hierro.

La web www.criteriumitalia.it dispone de toda la info y las news sobre los eventos. ¡Bravo! Por los organizadores italianos por haber tenido la valentía de pensar en grande (a diferencia de otros países) y ver el bien común para los eventos y para los corredores en crear una agrupación única donde los eventos se apoyan mutuamente y crecen juntos bajo la misma bandera.

Italy is one of the European countries where the movement of the fixed gear is more present and in the recent history of this discipline is always one step ahead.

The need to innovate and propose new events formats is reflected. Race (criterium) have been increasing in recent years and several organizers have used to agree and create a competition at national level made up of four races in four different cities where the fixed-gear has many followers: Rome, Florence, Milan and Forlì.

The trophy will take place between May and June, and in one month is contesting all races.
