En CeramicSpeed saben de primera mano que los diferentes terrenos y condiciones de conducción llevan el material de los ciclistas al límite. Es por eso que sus productos no solo están diseñados para alcanzar la mayor velocidad, sino también para durar.

No se conforman con tener ya la caja de cambio más valiosa del mercado, y siempre están buscando formas de desarrollar y perfeccionar el rendimiento de sus productos. Sus nuevos sistemas Cerakote OSPW X de edición limitada son un gran ejemplo en esta línea.

Revestimiento de la industria aeroespacial

A través de un extenso estudio de diferentes materiales para recubrimientos, han mejorado aún más la durabilidad de su OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel) mediante la aplicación de un recubrimiento de Cerakote. Cerakote es un compuesto utilizado en las industrias automotriz y aeroespacial que proporciona durabilidad, dureza y resistencia óptimas al rayado y la corrosión.

Esta protección adicional, junto con la reducción de fricción que todas las versiones estándar ya cuentan por defecto, ofrece lo último en rendimiento y longevidad. Los rodamientos revestidos son más resistentes a la falta de lubricación cuando se trata de desgaste y daños en el rodamiento. No obstante, esto no significa que se elimine la necesidad de mantenimiento.

Desarrollados, diseñados y fabricados a mano en Dinamarca, los nuevos sistemas Cerakote OSPW X de edición limitada vienen en tres acabados mate personalizados: bronce, gunmetal y oliva militar. Se presentaron al público el 13 de julio y solo hay 100 piezas disponibles de cada color, con compatibilidad para desviadores SRAM Eagle AXS y mecánicos, y sistemas Shimano XT/XTR de 12 velocidades. Al igual que la versión normal, estos OSPW X tienen garantía de por vida.

Específico para gravel

Con el fin de satisfacer las demandas y preferencias de los ciclistas de gravel, también agregarán un sistema OSPW para el grupo SRAM XPLR, que es específico para gravel. Vendrá en versiones estándar y con recubrimiento, y estará disponible en negro, rojo, dorado y azul a partir del 28 de julio.

They don’t settle themselves with having already the most valuable pulley wheels on the market, and they are always looking for ways to further develop and perfect the performance of their products. Their new limited edition Cerakote OSPW X systems are the latest example of this approach.

Coating from the aerospace industry

Through an extensive material study of different coatings, they have further enhanced the durability of their OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel) by applying a Cerakote coating. Cerakote is a composite coating used in the automotive and aerospace industries that provides optimal durability, hardness, and resistance to scratch and corrosion.

This extra protection, together with the reduced friction characteristic of all CeramicSpeed products, offers the ultimate gains in performance and longevity. Coated bearings are more resistant to lack of lubrication when it comes to wear and damage to the bearing. Nonetheless, this does not mean that the need for maintenance is eliminated.

Developed, designed and hand built in Denmark, The new limited edition Cerakote OSPW X systems come in three off-road tailored matte finishes: bronze, gunmetal, and military olive. They were introduced to the public on July 13th and there are only 100 pieces available of each color, with compatibility for SRAM Eagle AXS & Mechanical derailleurs, and Shimano XT/XTR 12-speed systems. Same as the regular version, these OSPW have a lifetime warranty.

Gravel specific

In order to meet the demands and preferences of gravel riders, they will also add an OSPW for SRAMs gravel-specific XPLR group, which will come in both standard and coated versions and will be available in black, red, gold, and blue from the 28th of July.
