Among the Giants: Helvetic Lands

A five days trip, three days of pure cycling, no matter the watts, who is the one that reached the top earlier or if we get more or fewer records in Strava. Among the Giants is more than this. It’s where cycling and adventure, satisfaction and overcoming, nature and culture link together, authentic experience at all levels.

For us (RAW), Among the Giants is one of the projects we live with more intensity and one that we are most proud of. It’s not easy to gather strangers to live together for a few days and at the end of the trip when they take their return flights, they have a lot of great memories, new friends, and a life experience hard to forget.

This is our third edition, and we have to recognize that it has not been easy. After the first two editions (Dolomiti Experience, Slovenian Wild Roads), the expectation was very high and we knew we would have to make an effort to overcome it. We had to choose a destination with high mountains (exact, the name of the project is not accidental) and Switzerland has been the chosen place to carry out this new edition. Huge mountains, endless roads, and white giants that will be observing us from the top, all that and much more is what is waiting for us in this amazing country.

    Cinco días de viaje, tres días ciclismo, no importan los wattios, quien corona primero o si sacamos más o menos logros en Strava. Among the Giants va de mucho más que eso, es donde convergen ciclismo y aventura, satisfacción y  superación, naturaleza y cultura, una auténtica experiencia a todos los niveles.

    Para nosotros (RAW), Among the Giants es uno de los proyectos que vivimos con más intensidad, y que más nos enorgullece. No es tarea fácil juntar desconocidos para que convivan durante varios días y que al finalizar el viaje y cojan sus vuelos de vuelta lo hagan con montón de grandes recuerdos, nuevos amigos y amigas, y una experiencia vivida dificil de olvidar. 

    Esta es nuestra tercera edición, y tenemos que reconocer que no ha sido fácil. Tras las dos primeras ediciónes (Dolomiti Experience, Slovenian Wild Roads), el listón estaba muy alto y sabíamos que tendríamos que esforzarnos para poder estar a la altura. Teníamos que elegir un destino montañoso (exacto, el nombre del proyecto no es casual) y Suiza ha sido el lugar elegido para llevar a cabo esta nueva edición. Enormes montañas, carreteras interminables y gigantes teñidos de blanco por la nieve que nos vigilaran desde la altura, todo eso y mucho más es lo que nos depara este alucinante país.

    Por último, nos gustaría aprovechar la ocasión para agradecer a todas las marcas que confían en el proyecto y que, gracias a su esfuerzo y colaboración, nos permiten llevar cabo un proyecto tan mágico como este.
