Cuando hablamos de 8bar, hablamos de una marca consolidada y conocida en la escena del piñón fijo. Y, aunque su andanza que empezó allá por el 2011 se basaba en un producto nacido con vocación urbana desde las entrañas de Berlín, ahora su portfolio de marca engloba desde todo tipo de componentes a bicicletas completas a la carta de piñón fijo, a framesets de CX o carretera, y una palabra: PERSONALIZACIÓN, un pilar para la marca, que apuntalado por su configurador y componentes propios, harán de cada 8bar una bicicleta única.

Pero si algo late fuerte en el interior de 8bar, eso es la competición. Y es que en su ADN de marca está escrito. Creemos que una de las claves del éxito de los germanos, fue apostar desde un inicio por la promoción de sus productos en los critériums que empezaban a proliferar en Europa. Desde sus inicios, su fundador demostró que unas buenas piernas y una montura a la altura, harían que hablar de ellos fuera, sencillamente una consecuencia inevitable.

Centrémonos pues en la competición. Para esta temporada 8bar ha decidido apostar fuerte por su racing team. Ha incorporado nuevos miembros al equipo, potenciando tanto la parte masculina como la femenina, estrenan nuevo frameset y para la equipación han hecho una colaboración muy importante con Adidas.

La presentación oficial del equipo fue durante la Rad Race Fixed42 World Championship que se celebró el pasado 31 de mayo en Berlín donde los cambios en el equipo ya dieron sus primeros frutos:

1th Christin Klepsch

El 2015 se presenta como el año de consolidación del equipo, la búsqueda de buenos resultados en critériums como el Red Hook, las Rad Race o el National Moutarde Crit de Dijon, pasa a ser el objetivo principal del equipo para este año.

En cuanto al RHC de Londres, novedad de este año, tienen previsto ser representados por los riders Tim Ceresa, Paul Stubert, Maxe Faschina, Sebi Koerber and Christin Klepsch. No se olvidan de España, donde desembarcaron en Gijón 2012 y no han fallado a su cita anual desde entonces, así como repetir en Kantoikrit, Oñati.

When we talk about 8bar, we are talking about a consolidated and known brand in the fixed gear scene. Although its adventure began in 2011, its product was based on a urban-minded product born from the core of Berlin, now its brand portfolio includes all types of components, complete fixed gear bikes customized, framesets of CX or road, so on one word: CUSTOMIZATION, a pillar for the brand, which underpinned by its own configurator and components, will make each 8bar a unique bicycle…

But if something heat up inside 8bar is the competition; in its brand DNA is it written. We think that one of the keys to the success of the Germans was bet from the beginning by the promotion of their products in the criteriums which began to proliferate in Europe. Since its beginning, the founder showed that good legs and frameset would bring to talk about them, simply an inevitable consequence.

Focus then on the competition. For this season 8bar has decided to bet strong for its racing team. It has added new members to the team, enhancing both parts women and men, they use for the first time new frameset and for the equipment they have made a very important collaboration with Adidas. The official presentation of the team was during the Rad Race Fixed42 World Championship which was held on May 31 in Berlin where these team changes already gave their first good results:

2015 seems to be the year of the team consolidation; searching good results in criteriums as Red Hook, the Rad Race or National Moutarde Crit of Dijon, become the main goal of the team for this year.

As for the RHC London, its first year, are expected to be represented by riders Tim Ceresa, Paul Stubert, Maxe Faschina, Sebi Koerber and Christin Klepsch. They do not forget Spain, where they landed in Gijon 2012 and since then they haven’t failed its annual event and repeat Kantoikrit and Oñati.
