The New York’s Monster Track this year celebrates its XV edition, a alleycat that more than just a race, it’s a legend among the fixed culture.
Certainly, in the scope of New York bike messengers, is the most important and prestigious event, is like compare it to a Champions League final or Superbowl.
This event weekend took place from 13th to 16th March, with Goldsprint and karaoke party on Friday, and career Monstertrack XV afterparty on Saturday, and a meeting on Sunday 16th at Velocity Velodrome.
As in previous editions, it was a perfect opportunity for the messengers of New York and of many corners of the world can meet these three holidays and madness in the streets of this amazing city. Fixed and holidays, an infallible formula.
Among the more than 200 participants attended the event in Tompkins Square, New York’s Cooper Ray, bike messenger and rider of the RHC, managed to grab this year’s Monstertrack. In the women, the victory went to Hannah Todd, in a career that voice brokers thereof has been memorable for intensity and emotions.
Another successful alleycat race that everyone wants to participate, which is by definition the alleycat.

El Monster Track de Nueva York llega este año a su XV edición, un alleycat que, más que una simple carrera, ya es toda una leyenda entre la cultura fixed.
Sin duda, en el ámbito de los bike messengers neoyorquinos, es el evento mas importante y prestigioso, es como compararlo, con una final de Champions o una Superbowl.
Este el evento tuvo lugar el fin de semana del 13 al 16 de marzo, con fiesta de Goldsprint y karaoke el viernes, carrera Monstertrack XV y afterparty el sábado, y un encuentro en el Velocity Velodrome el domingo 16.
Como en las ediciones anteriores, ha sido una ocasión perfecta para que los mensajeros de Nueva York y de muchos rincones del mundo puedan reunirse estos tres días de fiesta y locura por las calles de esta gran ciudad. Fixed y fiesta, una fórmula infalible.
Entre los mas de 200 participantes que acudieron al evento en Tompkins Square, el neoyorquino Cooper Ray, bike messenger y rider del RHC, consiguió hacerse con esta edición del Monstertrack. En la categoría femenina, la victoria fue para Hannah Todd, en una carrera que por voz de los mismos corredores ha sido memorable por intensidad y emociones.
Otra exitosa carrera del alleycat al que todo el mundo quiere participar, en el que es el alleycat por definición.
